By accessing or using Wealthio (“the Platform”, “we”, “our”, “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

Wealthio is a personal finance management platform that allows users to:

• Track income, expenses, and transactions.
• Manage budgets, savings goals, bills, and debts.
• Monitor net worth across multiple accounts.
• Receive AI-powered financial coaching and spending predictions.
• Import and export financial data via CSV.

The Platform is provided “as is” for personal financial management purposes only. It is not a licensed financial advisory service.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account without prior written consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other users' data.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform.
• Use the Platform to store or process sensitive financial credentials (e.g., banking passwords, PINs).
• Impersonate any person or entity.

5. AI Financial Coach Disclaimer

The AI Finance Coach feature provides general information and suggestions based on the data you enter. This does not constitute professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.

Always consult a qualified financial advisor before making significant financial decisions. Wealthio and its developers are not liable for any decisions made based on AI-generated content.

6. Data Accuracy

Wealthio displays financial data based solely on what you manually enter. We do not connect to your bank accounts or verify the accuracy of any data. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data entered into the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its code, design, features, and content, is owned by Shantanu Paul. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform for personal purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Subscription & Billing

The current Starter plan is provided at no cost. If a paid Pro plan is introduced in the future:

• You will be notified of pricing before any charges occur.
• Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wealthio and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Platform.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (or ₹0 if you use the Starter plan).

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
